Overview

Read – Discuss – Support

This is a Book Club Special Event in response to the changes in our industry and as a supportive move to create community and connection for those navigating redundancy and uncertainty.

Read the book in advance of the book club session then join the zoom call to discuss ideas. There will be breakout groups to connect with others, exchange experiences of how the book has helped, and offer support.

The author of Another Door Opens, Eleanor Tweddell, has experienced losing her job, has led corporate change and now runs her own business helping people cope with redundancy, so is well placed to offer guidance for PSI members.

Another Door Opens described a five-step framework, that offers guidance for navigating the messiness of transition, whether that's leading change, changes at work, redundancy, business exits, retirement, heartbreak, or any unexpected detour life throws your way.

The book is broken into five clear steps (Pause, Mess, Play, Try, Restart), which early readers of the Book Club text have found useful in navigating their own change journeys, and therefore It comes highly recommended as a practical and useful tool.
