Who is this event intended for?: This event is fit for every career stage, from junior statisticians to the senior leadership who is looking to build good habits but knows that this is easier said than done, or wants to break bad habits before they break us.

What is the benefit of attending?: This is a bite-size opportunity to discuss ideas and topics from the podcast episode on James Clears’ “Atomic Habits”, without having to find time to read the book. This small time commitment echoes the 1% Rule from the book: Why tiny changes make (or break) us.

Success isn’t about making big changes—it’s about making small, consistent ones. James Clear’s bestselling book “Atomic Habits” reveals how tiny daily improvements compound into remarkable results, helping you break bad habits, build good ones, and unlock your full potential.

The book club’s usual focus is to read and discuss professional development books. In this short format event you can more easily develop you career without the commitment of reading the whole book - simply listen to the 1-hour long podcast before joining the interactive session on 21 May. The invitation to join the discussion is also open to those who have read the book.

The webinar will comprise of an introductory talk followed by small break-out groups for participants to share their experiences and thoughts on the podcast (or the book). Together, we’ll explore how to practically apply the habits in our professional lives, share insights, and reflect on how these principles can enhance both our personal and professional journeys.
