Biography
Robert Donnelly
Rob is currently Commercial Manager at Plus-Project where he provides strategic leadership in recruitment, business development and marketing.
Prior to this, he worked specifically within Biometrics recruitment in the City of London.
Rob is a bit of a humbug and makes a point of avoiding all Christmas-related music until at least the 20th December. He is also dismayed at Mince Pies being available from his local Sainsbury’s early in October.
Paul Terrill
Paul started his career working as a statistician in the agrochemical industry before becoming a statistical trainer for SAS. He moved into the pharmaceutical industry in 2005 and worked for several CROs before becoming an independent consultant in 2020. Paul primarily provides support to biotech and small pharmaceutical companies who lack in-house statistical expertise.
Paul is always happy to receive some lego as a Christmas present, and often does!
Aimee Weston
Aimee has an extensive background in sales and recruitment. She moved to Warman O’Brien in March 2020, to specialise in biometrics recruitment, which has always been an area of interest to her. She is currently a Principal Consultant, working purely with statisticians, offering market advice and opportunities within top pharma’s, biotech’s and CRO’s.
Aimee enjoys creating relationships with her clients and candidates, offering a friendly platform to come for all that is recruitment in the pharma world!
At Christmas, Aimee loves the social aspect of seeing friends and family and has been known in the past to join the ‘pram race’ in her hometown of Windlesham on Boxing Day!
Lara Wolfson
Lara J. Wolfson is Executive Director and Head, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Statistics in the Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences (BARDS) organization at MSD Switzerland. PSI Training Course: Effective Leadership – the keys to growing your leadership capabilities
This course will consist of three online half-day workshops. The first will be aimed at building trust, the backbone of leadership and a key to becoming effective. This is key to building a solid foundation.
The second will be on improving communication as a technical leader. This workshop will focus on communication strategies for different stakeholders and will involve tips on effective communication and how to develop the skills of active listening, coaching and what improv can teach us about good communication.
The final workshop will bring these two components together to help leaders become more influential. This will also focus on how to use Steven Covey’s 7-Habits, in particular Habits 4, 5 and 6, which are called the habits of communication.
The workshops will be interactive, allowing you to practice the concepts discussed. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion. There will also be reflective time where you can think about what you are learning and how you might experiment with it.

Join our Health Technology Assessment (HTA) European Special Interest Group (ESIG) for a webinar on the strategic role of statisticians in the Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA). The introduction of the JCA marks a new era for evidence generation and market access in Europe. As HTA requirements become more harmonized and methodologically demanding, the role of statisticians has evolved far beyond data analysis. Today, statistical expertise is central to shaping clinical development strategies, designing robust comparative evidence, and ensuring that submissions withstand the scrutiny of EU-level assessors. In this webinar, we explore how statisticians contribute strategically to successful JCA outcomes.
