Medical Statistics Careers Event 2026/27 - Exhibitors

Exhibitor registration for the 2026 Careers Event will be open between 3rd August and 2nd October. For registered exhibitors, further information will be added in the lead-up to the event. If you were intending to register and missed the deadline please contact careers@psiweb.org.

 

For the exhibition session, we welcome representatives from any pharmaceutical companies, CROs, CTUs and other organisations working within the field of Medical Statistics, including any universities who run an MSc or PhD in Statistics, or have statistical consulting groups. We also welcome recruitment companies who specialise in roles in medical statistics and/or programming.

Three representatives may attend per exhibitor stand. Stands include a table. Exhibitors should provide a tablecloth if desired. Large exhibition stands or one or more small pull-up banners can be accommodated. Banners must be able to stand by themselves as poster boards cannot be provided. The pictures from previous events on the main event webpage provide an example.

Students will have the option to opt in to receiving communication from exhibitors after the event. The names and email addresses of those who consent will be shared with all exhibitors after the event.


Registration

Registration fees for an exhibitor stand are as follows:

  • Pharmaceutical company/CRO/Recruitment company: £500 + VAT
  • Clinical Trials Unit/Government organisation/Public sector/Charity: £150 + VAT
  • University advertising further study: Free


Sponsorship

All sponsors will benefit from their company logo being included in advertising materials, email communication and event slides. All sponsors will have the opportunity to provide a virtual flyer that will be shared with students in advance of the event. All packages include an exhibitor stand.

Courier Information for Exhibitors

Courier information will be updated nearer the event. Please ensure that items couriered to the event are clearly labelled with "PSI Careers Event" and your company name. Company representatives must package up and label any items to be picked up before they leave.

 

Promotional Material 

Please note that some parts of the event will be captured by photographs and video footage for promotional purposes for use on PSI social media platforms.  

If any of your company volunteers do not want to be included in any of the photographs / video footage then please notify a PSI Careers volunteer on the day of the event (someone wearing a blue T-shirt).

 

Summary of Registered Students 

A summary showing the spread of universities and stage of study will be provided after student registration closes.

PSI Career Young Virtual Event (Q3 2026)

This networking event is aimed at statisticians that are new to the pharmaceutical industry who wish to meet colleagues from different companies and backgrounds.

PSI Training Course: Propensity Scores: Practical Application in Non-randomised Studies

The course will introduce the topic of propensity scores and the use of external data. Covering the topics of matching and weighting as well as more advance topics of high dimension propensity scores, multi-valued treatments, double robustness and time-varying scenarios. There will be the opportunity to participate in some hands on practical exercises in R.
