PSI Conference - Winners of this year's Poster Prize

May 25, 2017
The 2017 PSI conference was held in London last week with a record attendance and fantastic scientific content. For those of you who missed the Close of the Conference, Anna Berglind from AstraZeneca presented the winners of this year's Poster Prize. We had 53 posters, and the quality of posters was very high.

I would like to thank PSI's Scientific Committee for another excellent conference which was held in London last week. We had a record attendance and fantastic scientific content. I am already looking forward to next year's conference in Amsterdam.

For those of you who missed the Close of the Conference, Anna Berglind from AstraZeneca presented the winners of this year's Poster Prize. We had 53 posters, and the quality of posters was very high. It was a difficult decision, but the judges selected three prize winners:

  • Maria Costa (GSK), 'Re-Engineering Early Drug Development'

Maria Costa

  • Steve Jones (Covance) , ‘Using Big Data to Facilitate Clinical Trial Enrolment Planning’

Steve Jones

  • Lindsay Kendall (GSK), ‘Contributing Towards Increasing Statistics Capability in sub-Saharan Africa’

Lindsay

Steve was unable to collect his prize yesterday, so I presented it last Thursday (see picture above). I have also included pictures of Maria and Lindsay.

Thank you for all those delegates who entered the competition; and thank you also to AstraZeneca for sponsoring the session and prizes this year. :)

Kind regards

Nigel Howitt

Vice Chair, PSI
