On behalf of the MRC Network of Hubs for Trials Methodology Research, we are delighted to highlight to you the 3rd International Clinical Trials Methodology Conference, to be held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) on 16 and 17 November 2015. Following on from our successful clinical trials methodology conferences in Bristol in 2011 and Edinburgh in 2013, we are preparing to welcome up to 800 delegates to Glasgow this November.
These are exciting and challenging times for clinical trials, with increasing recognition of the importance of doing the right trials in the right way, to minimise waste and provide the evidence that patients, practitioners, policy makers and the public need to make well-informed decisions about health and social care. This conference is an ideal opportunity for people conducting research into the methods for trials to come together with those designing, conducting and using trials, to find and discuss the most appropriate ways to improve health by improving trials
